Day 1
A lot of years ago, I thought that
"being a Christian" was about
following rules,
walking down front during the 4th chorus of
"Just As I Am",
"Just As I Am",
saying a prayer,
and not messing up too much.
Today,
I don't identify myself as a "Christian"
because of all of the presumptions placed on that word.
No,
I'm a Christ-Follower.
I give praise to the One
who pulled me out of the darkness
where I thought I was living life
and brought me into His light
where I can thrive,
and grow,
and really live out the
calling HE placed on my life
calling HE placed on my life
with real LOVE
and GRACE
and HOPE
and MERCY.
He thought I was worthy,
and he died for me,
and the very least I can do
is LIVE for HIM!
He thought I was worthy,
and he died for me,
and the very least I can do
is LIVE for HIM!
Day 1: I'm so thankful for Jesus and the honor it is to call myself a Christ-follower!
